The Euroa Junior Soccer Club took a significant step forward on Sunday, as several of its committed coaches participated in the Foundations of Football course, hosted by Football Victoria and presented by GV Suns coach Rob Harmeston.

Held on Sunday, 28 July, the session was informative and engaging, equipping coaches with new ideas to enhance player engagement, strengthen team morale and improve player retention.

The course featured a range of practical training drills that coaches are already planning to introduce during training.

Rob Harmeston, recognised for his commitment to grassroots development and technical knowledge, delivered a day filled with hands on demonstrations and expert advice. His real world insights and understanding of junior player development left attendees feeling confident and better prepared to support young talent.

Thank you to all the coaches who gave up their Sunday to invest in the future of junior football.

Appreciation also goes to Fare Enough Café, which provided a satisfying lunch that helped maintain energy levels throughout the day.

With strong community spirit, good food and a shared love of football, Sunday was a successful day for the Euroa Junior Soccer Club.
