It was a nail biting finish for Towners in their last game of the year.

Violet Town got ahead at the start of each quarter, only to allow Murchison-Toolamba back into the game in the final minutes.

Defence was working overtime, with Mel Humphries and Emma Warnock turning over plenty of ball to give Towners a chance to pull ahead.

They managed to score their final goal with just 10 seconds remaining, finishing the season unbeaten.

B GRADE

After a close first half, Towners found their rhythm and produced a strong finish, comfortably securing the win.

Finishing one spot out of the finals is a tough pill to swallow, but moving up two places from last year shows clear improvement.

Next year, finals beckon.

A hard fought clash and perfect prelude to next week's final.

Mother Nature kept everyone on their toes, serving sun, cloud, cold, and even hail.

Towners held their composure in the last quarter and claimed victory by one goal, demonstrating great team effort.

C RESERVE

Violet Town started well, showing excellent defensive pressure and forcing turnovers.

Unfortunately, errors in attack prevented them from converting opportunities, while Murchison-Toolamba managed to feed their shooters effectively.

A mixed final quarter saw some promising passages of play, but the scoreboard favoured the visitors.

After a scrappy start, Towners found their groove, creating intercepts in defence and moving the ball efficiently to the shooters.

Increased defensive pressure in the second half opened up further scoring opportunities, resulting in a strong finish and fantastic momentum heading into finals.
