Fresh off the school holiday break, the under 10s took on Tatura at home on the weekend.
The team started the game sluggishly and took a while to find rhythm, with some of the younger players shining early.
Will Swift, Tayte Wilson, and Izzy Limbrick played their best games of the season and continue to improve.
The team worked hard to get back into the contest, with James Jackson, Tommy Bickerton, and Lenny Moore battling it out in midfield.
Cody O’Bree and Jett Fielden proved constant goal threats up forward.
After half time, the side started slowly again and, needing a lift, Roy Burton stood up under pressure, assisted by Bohdi Cummins and Bailey Nunn through the middle.
Billy Harper led from the front in defence, with Lucas Mason and Emmet Arrowsmith getting in and under the packs.
The team finished the game strongly, kicking five goals in the final term.
Hudson King and Lewis Riley were live-wires around the goals, involved in several forward forays during the quarter.
Jed Enright was creative coming out of defence, showcasing strong run and carry play.
This weekend, the team heads to Mooroopna for a clash against the Cats.

On a chilly Friday night Euroa’s Under 12s returned to Tallygaroopna for a rematch against Tallycongupna.
The match began with a scrappy and slippery first quarter, as both sides struggled with clean possession.
Henry Williamson broke through with Euroa’s first goal, helping Euroa take a first quarter lead.
Tally responded strongly in the second, kicking a goal and two behinds.
But a sharp bit of teamwork saw Oakley Dunning unselfishly pass to a free Jaegar Saxon, who slotted his first.
The third quarter remained tight, but Euroa’s cleaner ball use started to shine.
Kallin Caravaca Lopez provided great run through the middle, while Slater O’Bree anchored the defence and Hudson King was running everywhere and winning plenty of the ball as Euroa edged further ahead, 20 to 10.
The final term belonged entirely to Euroa, with Charlie Hemeter continuing his strong run of form, making an impact across both defence and midfield.
Jaegar Saxon ignited the momentum with a brilliant snap from the boundary, sparking a flurry of goals.
Brothers Jasper and Oakley Dunning followed with quick majors, and Saxon added another to finish with three goals for the night.
Logan Schwartzkopff snapped an amazing goal and had the whole team get around him in celebration, as the team kicked seven final quarter goals to seal a commanding win.
SCOREBOARD: Euroa 66 defeated Tallygaroopna 12.

As was to be expected, Alexandra travelled to Euroa with a full strength side and proved too strong for our lads.
The backline worked tirelessly throughout the game to prevent a total blowout.
However, the end result was a convincing win to Alexandra.
We started strong, with the first quarter being low scoring and even, with both sides scoring only two points.
However, in the second quarter, Alexandra ran away with it.
The kids found some spirit in the third quarter and came out fighting, with Darby Hoare kicking a quick goal in the opening minutes.
Alex Burton and Aidan Hamill worked hard in the midfield, and we commend Will Roob, who rolled his ankle in the warm up but courageously played on with grit and determination, maybe to his detriment.
SCOREBOARD: Alexandra 9.9.63 defeated Euroa 4.6.30
Sunday, 28 July will see us on the road to Broadford for a 12.30pm start.
