ON Saturday, Ken Sutcliffe stepped out on the green to play his 600th game of Pennant for the Euroa Bowls Club.
An extraordinary achievement and what is even more remarkable is the fact that all of these 600 games have been played in Euroa's highest division at the time in either division one or two.
Ken joined the Euroa Bowls Club in 1984 and immediately started playing Pennant for the club.
In his 38 years at the club, Ken has hardly missed a Saturday game of Pennant bowls and there is certainly no person more loyal or reliable than Ken.
Over the years, Ken has had numerous financial offers from other clubs as both a player and green keeper but he has always stayed loyal to Euroa.
Ken's list of achievements at the Euroa Bowls Club is staggering.
He has won a total of 31 club championships, 15 as men's singles champion, eight as men's pairs champion and eight mixed pairs championships with his wife Anne.
Ken is also a life member of the Euroa Bowls Club and has been inducted into the Goulburn Valley Bowls hall of fame.
In addition to this, Ken is an outstanding greens keeper, with Euroa's greens considered up there with the best in the state.
Euroa Bowls Club congratulates Ken on the remarkable achievement of playing 600 games and thank him for his unwavering loyalty.
Well done Sutty!
