YOUNG cricketer Georgia Gall has passed another milestone on her cricket pathway.
She has recently signed with the Melbourne Stars for the upcoming Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) season.
Georgia played with the Euroa juniors in her early days when she first became interested in cricket.
She has always been mindful by those at the local level who encouraged and supported her on this pathway.
In Euroa, she played with the under 12, under 14 and under 16 boys' teams when she was then selected for a regional team, the Northern Rivers, which played in the State Championships.
From there she was picked to go up to the National Cricket Academy in Brisbane to learn from some of the best Australian coaches and was lucky enough to be picked to play for the Cricket Australia XI in the Under 18 National Championships.
Another new challenge last season was when she headed to the Essendon Maribyrnong Park Ladies Cricket Club to hone her skills along with getting some helpful tips from the country's best at the Stars including Meg Lanning and Elyse Villani.
She said developing her game playing alongside those top tier players was her main goal for the that season.
Those who are watching Georgia's progress, send her congratulations on her achievements to date and wish her well for the future.
