Join the 510 businesses that supply Inland Rail

Sixty local businesses have boosted their chances of winning work on Inland Rail and other large construction projects after participating in supplier development workshops held in regional Victoria, supported by the Inland Rail Skills Academy (IRSA). Held in Benalla, Euroa, and Broadford, the Supplier Capability Development workshops help regional businesses strengthen their chances of successfully tendering for works and managing contracts on major projects. Business advisory experts and industry buyers including Deborah Wilson Consulting Services, the Industry Capability Network - Victoria, regional councils, John Holland, and the National Intermodal Corporation shared important industry insights. In the workshops, businesses learned how to engage with buyers, prepare competitive tender submissions, and manage contracts for work. Over the next three months registered businesses will join online group sessions and one-on-one mentoring before the second round of workshops in October. The program is open to both local and Indigenous businesses and social enterprises, new and established businesses, and small to medium enterprises.
