A public information session is being held by Strathbogie Shire Council for community members to view the Euroa Railway Precinct Masterplan, learn more about the next steps in this significant project, and have a final opportunity to provide input.
The masterplan, shaped by community and stakeholder input, outlines a clear and staged vision for revitalising the Euroa railway precinct, seeking to deliver better connectivity, enhanced public spaces, increased amenity, and new opportunities for local business, tourism, and community gathering.
Mayor Claire Ewart-Kennedy said the masterplan reflects the community’s aspirations and is a vital opportunity for Euroa to benefit from the broader Inland Rail development.
“This is a transformational project for Euroa," Cr Ewart-Kennedy said.
"It’s not just about rail – it’s about reimagining the heart of our town.
"This masterplan provides us with the blueprint to secure state and federal investment to bring this vision to life, and we want our community to come along on the journey."
“I encourage everyone to come along, see the masterplan, ask questions, provide feedback, and learn how we’re advocating for Euroa’s future.”
The two information sessions will be held on 28 July at 2pm and 5:30pm at the Euroa conference room.
Community members are encouraged to register their attendance online at share.strathbogie.vic.gov.au
The masterplan builds on the Euroa Township Strategy 2020 and aligns with key funding programs including the Federal Government’s Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program and the State Government’s Investment Fast Track Fund.
