THE annual Red Cross Calling in March will follow the same routine as for the previous years in Euroa.
Rather than knocking on doors asking for donations, which did happen in the past, Red Cross members and other volunteers will be outside Burton's IGA store in Binney Street.
You will find them there from March 15–19 and also from March 21–26.
In other years, the local Red Cross unit has found that the Euroa people have donated very generously.
This money will go to support local, country–wide and international projects that Red Cross is associated with.
The roster for those assisting with the Red Cross calling will be in Burton's window, so look out for that if you have offered to help.
The COVID pandemic has made it difficult for the local Red Cross unit to meet but it is hoped that now that the situation has eased that the group will be able to meet monthly.
The local unit meets on the first Thursday of the month and the next meeting will be on April 7 from 10am (for a cuppa) and the meeting will be held at 10.30am in the RSL meeting room in Kirkland Avenue.
Any interested residents are most welcome to attend the monthly meeting or call Chris John (president) on 0400 534 098 for further information.
