The magic of Australia’s most famous horse race is coming to Strathbogie Shire next month as part of the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour.
Since 2003, the People’s Cup has travelled more than a million kilometres, visited over 680 towns and cities worldwide, and helped raise millions of dollars for local communities.
From New York to Queensland, Warracknabeal to Walcha, the tour continues to share the stories, history and sparkle of the Cup.
Local residents will have the chance to see the iconic trophy up close when the Cup visits Nagambie on Monday, 8 September, followed by Euroa on Tuesday, 9 September.
The tour offers racing fans, community groups and families an opportunity to celebrate a piece of Australia’s sporting history right on their doorstep.
