Although it is not the weather we need, its good to go out on a nice day, and the perfect place to celebrate farming produce is our monthly Euroa Farmers Market this Saturday 17 May in Rotary Park and along Kirkland Ave from 9am to 1pm.
All the regular stallholders will be back in the park in their comfortable locations among the trees.
There will be lots of craft, from handmade bags to handmade greeting cards, paintings and photographs, soaps and body lotions, kids trinkets and t-shirts.
In addition there is beautiful Euroa-made jewellery.
There will be garden sculptures, leather belts, gorgeous bird images on magnets and tea towels, honey, dog treats, and dog coats.
The regular local wine and gin from Bendigo will also feature along with preserves of all flavours and granola with or without nuts, depending on how you like it.
There will be fresh bread, Italian pastries, gluten free donuts, and Asian dumplings.
The kids can eat ice-cream and the adults can have coffee.
Buy a plant, a pot, or a sign for the shed and don't forget your basket to fill with seasonal fruit and veggies.
The Already Read Bookshop will have books on every genre for you to buy at ridiculously cheap prices, and the Euroa Agricultural Show committee will have hot sausages and egg and bacon rolls ready to go.
The Euroa Citizens Band will grace the stage, filling the whole park with big band songs, and lots of dogs and their owners will meet in the middle. Of the park, not the stage.
If you like to shop, buying fresh locally produced products and locally made crafts, it’s all at the Euroa Farmers Market this Saturday.
See you there.
