VicGrid to consult on transmission network soon

MORE CONSULTATION COMING: VicGrid visited Wangaratta last June to hear from locals. The North East is not a proposed Renewable Energy Zone (REZ), however, VicGrid is soon launching another round of consultation, open to community and industry, on the new Victorian Access Regime, setting out how access to the transmission network will be managed inside and outside of REZs.

PREMIER of Victoria Jacinta Allan would not be drawn to comment on the particulars of the Meadow Creek Solar Farm application following a recent letter to the premier from Wangaratta Mayor Irene Grant.

Cr Grant wrote a letter to the premier dated 10 June as an 11th hour plea to the government with a case urging the government to refuse the application based on numerous grounds.
