LAST Saturday, a crop of 200 runners braved the impeding inclement weather to participate in the 42nd annual Mount Beauty Running Festival.
Athletes chose from either a scenic 10km road race, a gruelling 14km trail run or the nice and flat 3km run around the pondage.
This year's event attracted a field of quality runners, with impressive times recorded across all events.
