Feathers ruffled over duck hunting inquiry

AN inquiry into Native Bird Hunting in Victoria will be carried out this year after it received the support from upper house MPs, 20 votes to 15.

It follows the 2023 duck hunting season having been scaled back to five weeks with a four bird bag limit – in what some commentators say will be the last ever in Victoria.
