THE pilot of a gyrocopter that crashed in Goulburn Weir on Sunday morning has died at the scene and another man has been airlifted to hospital with upper body injuries.
The pilot was later identified as a 50-year-old man from South Australia and the passenger, in his 70s, was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
