Budding enthusiasts and those yet to enter would be pleased to know that entries for the 133rd Euroa Agricultural Show are now open.
The local Show is just weeks away, with the main show day taking place on Saturday 25 October, and horse and yard dog events continuing on Sunday 26 October.
Entries are open for all pavilion and outdoor sections and with over 1100 classes, there’s something for everyone.
Each year the show celebrates the skills, produce, and creativity of the region, and being an exhibitor is one of the most rewarding ways to be involved.

Hard-copy competition schedules are available at Burtons IGA, Euroa Newsagency, Euroa Gazette Office, and Nutrien.

For anyone needing help with placing their entries, the Euroa Agricultural Society will again offer just that at the Euroa Library this month.
These drop-in sessions are a great way to ask questions, make entries on the spot, and purchase an early-bird tickets.
The Euroa Library sessions are all between 12 and 4pm on:
• Wednesday 8 October
• Thursday 9 October
• Tuesday 14 October
• Thursday 16 October
• Friday 17 October
All entries must be placed by midnight on Saturday 18 October, unless otherwise stated in the schedule.
The NR Ralston Pavilion will once again transform into a hub of colour and creativity, with classes for art, photography, floral art, cut flowers, cookery, jams and preserves, knitting and crochet, needlework, woodwork, home-grown produce, and craft.
New in 2025 is a Model Making section featuring LEGO builds, an expanded Children’s Cut Flowers section, and exciting new honey and egg classes in the Home Grown Produce section.
Many favourites return, offering something for everyone - from primary school students to experienced exhibitors.
Outdoors, the show remains true to its agricultural roots with competitions for sheep, commercial sheep, wool fleece, shearing, goats, and poultry.
Yard dog and horse section competitions run over both the Saturday and Sunday, with a separate horse schedule available on the website.
All horse entries are taken on the day, while yard dog entries can be made at vyufda.com.au
Now’s the time to decide what you’ll enter, dust off those baking tins, pick your best produce, prepare your artworks, and join in the tradition that makes the Euroa Agricultural Show a highlight of the local calendar.
