LOCAL St John's student Charlee Rieusset turned 12 on November 9 and got the first injection of the Pfizer COVID–19 vaccine on that very day.
Everyone in Australia aged 12 years and over is eligible for a free COVID–19 vaccination.
Ms Rieusset's mum, Bec Rieusset, said she could not be prouder of her daughter as she was doing that for the greater good of the community and for her own sake.
