THE owner of the Ellen Frances Hotel in Violet Town, Fiona Brown, has received a certificate of appreciation from the town's local fire brigade for generously donating the proceeds of the pub's charity raffle to the CFA.

The weekly raffle held at the pub has always been popular, with the chance
