THE iconic 'Swaggie Tree' in Euroa may fit into a long–standing mystery relating to a beloved photograph of a swagman from 125 years ago.
The photo, titled 'Civilisation in the Bush', was taken by John Duncan Peirce in 1898 and is currently archived among his other works at the State Library of Victoria.
