THE Avenel Memorial hall has received a $16,000 audio–visual system to increase the facility's multi–use capacity for community and commercial events.
Some $14,300 of the upgrade has been paid for by the Strathbogie Shire Council while the remaining $1778 was funded by Avenel Active.
The hall now has a 3.5m x 1.9m (160 inch) motorised projector screen for PowerPoint presentations and films.
