14-year-old driver charged over fatal crash

TRAGIC: The collision occured on the Hume Freeway near Alexandersons Rd, as the vehicles were travelling north. Police said the car was taken from a driveway near Wangaratta before midnight the previous evening.

POLICE have charged a teenager following a fatal collision in Locksley on Wednesday morning.

A grey Holden Captiva was travelling along the Hume Highway when it collided with a truck near Alexandersons Road about 8.30am.

The front passenger of the Holden, a 15-year-old Wodonga girl died at the scene.

The 14-year-old female driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlift...
