AS the final siren sounded at Memorial Oval on Sunday, it was utter jubilation in the Euroa camp as for the second time this season the Euroa Youth Girls had a win.

Playing in front of a big home crowd, along with the rest of the Euroa Junior Football Netball Club, the girls showed their grit and determination to pinch the win from fourth placed Mooroopna.

With nearly half of the team out due to injury, illness and holidays, the Euroa side was preparing itself for a challenge as the last encounter with Mooroopna brought a 67 point defeat.

In the opening minutes, after winning the centre clearance and kicking the ball forward, Lucy was able to score the first of her two goals for Euroa and the scene was set for victory.

Eliza Hoare who had a frantic morning ensuring her registration came through, played her first game of footy with style and composure showing off her slick ball skills and kicking Euroa’s second major for the term.

Quarter time: Euroa 2.1.13; Mooroopna 0.1.1
