IN a bitterly cold but not yet wet game of mid-winter football, the Euroa Magpies took to Memorial Oval with real determination, desire and willingness to ‘get the job done’.

Despite the fast start from the bottom of the table Cats, the Euroa team was able to come away with a comfortable win at the end of the game, finishing with a 38-point win over the Mooroopna Cats.

JD Hayes again was outstanding in his leadership, commitment to the contest and ball use.

Jacob Gleeson was not far behind in all three of these departments as his season continues to go from good to great.

A couple of injuries throughout the match, one severe head injury from some friendly fire in the first quarter meant Matt Douglas was unable to take part in the remainder of the contest.
