EUROA’S senior team demolished their Shepparton United counterparts at the weekend to the tune of almost 100 points.
In a dominant display at the ‘home of football’ (Deakin Reserve) JD and his team attacked the ball with great vigour and determination, giving forwards such as Brad Gleeson and that ever-youthful Craig Bamford first use with which they capitalised accordingly.
Youngsters Riley Bjorksten, Jarmyn Tremellen and Will McFarlane looked very much at home as they set about showing their United opposition what it was to run hard, create for team-mates and dispose of the football with accuracy by hand or by foot.
Adam Tarrant again had a job in front of him as the ‘man mountain’ in Lowden from United.
When he wasn’t competing against McFarlane in the ruck then he went forward, making Adsy look very small indeed.
Of course, this did not concern Adsy as again his approach to the contest never wavered.
Nathan Gilliland again showed many why he is such an asset to this team with some very cool work under pressure.
