Police ask drivers to be on their game at weekend

KEEPING ROADS SAFE: Senior Constable Paul Swan will be joining his Victoria Police colleagues across the state in enforcing speed restrictions on our roads this Queen’s Birthday weekend.

LOCAL police will join their colleagues from across the state as part of ‘Operation Regal’ this Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
The operation begins at midnight on Friday and will continue until late on Monday night.

All available officers will be on traffic duties during this time, especially on the busy Hume Freeway.

“We will be targeting road user behaviour and will be strictly enforcing speed limits,” Euroa Senior Constable Paul Swan said.

“With increased traffic on our roads heading up to the snow or getting away over the long weekend, we will be extra vigilant to keep road users safe.
