A PROPOSAL by the Strathbogie Shire Council to incorporate the Euroa Cinema has been met with a negative response from volunteers and residents at a tense public meeting last Wednesday night.
The shire has floated the idea of passing complete control of the cinema’s operation to the public in order to ‘ease the burden on limited staffing resources’ by discontinuing the administrative support they currently offer to the cinema’s team of volunteers.
