SEVERAL of Euroa Football Netball Club’s (EFNC) younger football players have been selected for the Murray Bushranger 2016 pre-season sides.
EFNC under 18 players Jack McKernan, Tom Burke, Jett Trotter and Brayden Frost were selected for the under 18 Bushrangers side.
Jake Penman, a junior Euroa footballer who also stepped up for a few games in their under 18s side throughout the season was selected for Murray Bushrangers’ under 16 pre-season team.
EFNC president Scott Watson said that EFNC is delighted with the fact that a number of its players are involved in both the representative teams at this pre-season stage.
“We are very encouraged by the way players such as Jack McKernan, Tom Burke, Jett Trotter and Brayden Frost carried themselves throughout the season in 2015 with the former three all tasting senior football for the first time this year,” he said.
“Jack is a tall, athletic and mobile key position player who is capable of playing in roles such as centre half forward and centre half back.
