EUROA business owner Leah Jones moved to Victoria at a time in her life when she realised things needed a shake-up.

Prior to then, she had been working at the Nambour TAFE college in Queensland.

She had raised her family on 12 acres near Eumundi on the Sunshine Coast, where they lived an alternative lifestyle.

When her two children left home within weeks of each other, Leah suffered from empty nest syndrome.

“Once they’d gone, there was nothing else,” she said.

She didn’t want to renew her contract at the TAFE and decided to go for a drive to Victoria.
