THE annual Australian National Show and Shine was again a success on the weekend, with around 10,000 in attendance.

The event, held on Sunday, pulled consistent numbers, having around the same visitors as the last three years.

This year saw the additional area at the Euroa Bowling Club being utilised as well and event director John Mason said that the number of motorbike entrants had increased.

“The motorbikes were up by about a quarter,” he said.

John said that he had thought the heat, the addition of the grand final long weekend and the Cars Guide events page recently being dropped would have contributed to a reduction in attendance, but was happy with the consistency in numbers.

“We had a local lady help us with marketing on Facebook,” he said.
