$120,000 emergency funding

Strathbogie, Mansfield are both getting better prepared

THE State Government has confirmed $120,000 in funding to help Strathbogie and Mansfield shire councils prepare and protect local communities for emergency events.

The Municipal Emergency Resourcing Program (MERP) funding was introduced to help councils address the outcomes of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission and is used to fund local emergency management staff and officers.
