Politicians rally beds cause

STEPH Ryan (MLA, Euroa) and Margaret Fitzherbert (MLC, Southern Metropolitan) last week attended Euroa Health to discuss its need for public funded acute hospital beds.

Ms Fitzherbet, the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Women’s Health and Rural and Regional Health, and Ms Ryan, toured the Euroa electorate to discuss pressing issues in the area.

Ms Ryan said that the long running campaign to get the hospital beds is one of the most pressing issues the Euroa electorate is currently facing.

“It’s wonderful to have Margaret here,” she said.

“We had a policy to have the beds put in immediately.

“But with the change of government we are back to square one.
