A 30-year-old Euroa man died at the scene of an early morning fatal crash on Two Chains Road in Arcadia South in early morning.

A 30-year-old Euroa man died at the scene of a fatal crash on Two Chains Road in Arcadia South at approximately 5.15am this morning.

The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle, a Holden Commodore, and was travelling in a westerly direction.

Shepparton Police Highway Patrol Acting Sergeant Neil Johnson said that the cause is still unknown but it appeared the vehicle lost control, crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided into a tree.

“We understand that there were no witnesses, but there was a witness to the impact noise and they phoned emergency services,” he said.

A report is being made for the coroner.
