REMEMBER that day last week when the rain was heavy?

Well, that must mean that Euroa Secondary College (ESC) were due for another sporting event and sure enough it was the day for the Southern Ranges Term 3 Round Robin Sports.

Students from year 7 to 10 had registered for teams competing in basketball, table tennis, hockey and for the second year, AFL 9s.

Euroa hosted year 8 girls’ basketball, but with the home court advantage our team was only able to win a couple of games for the day and fell short of the finals.

Shepparton played host to the year 7 and 8 boys basketball and the intermediate girls hockey.

The hockey players had no trouble accounting for Broadford in their only match for the day, but the year 7s had a tougher battle against Broadford’s basketball team.
