Demons take to conditions

Kevin Hoare

SHEPPARTON United under 18s were able to handle the wet and slippery conditions that confronted the two sides better on Saturday morning.

With the temperature reaching no more than 10 during the game it was  difficult for both sides but the Shepparton boys played good possession football and made it hard work for our boys.

The first quarter saw an even affair
Nate Abley snagged our first goal and that was followed up by good work by Curtis Hoare and Brayden Frost to get the ball to Tom Burke for his first of three for the morning.

Max Gleeson, Kayne Davidson, Jack Broughton and Jack Smith were doing a great job and the ball spent a lot of time in Euroa’s forward line.

Euroa were up by a point at quarter time.
