THE drastic improvement of Longwood’s under 18’s team continued with a comprehensive victory against Undera on Saturday.
The team was bolstered by the addition of some permit players, some courtesy of Puckarook, which saw the Redlegs’ thirds side play with the rare luxury of an interchange player.
The Redlegs prevailed by 56 points, with a stirring performance from key forward Cooper Locke who jagged a season high of four goals.
Chris Webb and Cody Thompson both slotted three goals, while Liam Stevens jagged two goals.
One of the key features of the Redlegs’ junior side is the diversity of backgrounds the players come from.
First-year players Malong Nagour and Harjit Singh continue to impress, while reigning best and fairest Zac Tong continued to impress once again.
