A FAR superior senior side came up against the lowly Girgarre on Saturday.

Nagambie played without a couple of key players in Rick Misiti with a wrist injury and Nathan Fothergill with soreness.

Girgarre came out firing early in the match surprising many when they led at quarter time albeit by a goal as Nagambie failed to convert shots on goal which allowed Girgarre to get their tails up.

The inaccurate Lakers moved past Girgarre across the match, gradually increasing their margin at every break, leaving the challenge that was put to them in their wake.
Anthony Haysom has found his stride.
