IT seems the generosity of Euroa and district residents knows no bounds, with their donations raising almost $260,000 over the past three years from four annual fundraisers.
For many years, Euroa residents have supported Red Cross Calling and the Good Friday Appeal, with local volunteers getting into the spirit of raising money for two worthy causes.
But for the last three years, two more events have been added to the growing list of community fundraisers in Euroa.
The introduction of both Pink Stumps Day (supporting the McGrath Foundation) and Relay for Life (Cancer Council) in 2013 has seen local residents jump on board and give generously, even though they still donate to the Red Cross and Good Friday Appeal.
But it seems irrelevant to locals that even though there are four major fundraisers on at almost the same time every year, they still empty their pockets and dig deep.
Outgoing Euroa-Strathbogie Relay for Life chair Andrea Penman said over $169,000 had been raised in the community for the annual event.
