ONCE again local members are bringing the Euroa Croquet Club to everyone’s notice at the regional level.

Competing in the Goulburn Valley Association (GVCA) Championships last week, Ellen Reed and Sue van Lunenburg played well in their respective fields only to miss out on becoming regional champions thanks to count backs.

Club captain Ellen has played increasingly well over the past season, both in the pennant competition and on social days at other clubs.

She has organised Euroa’s Golf Croquet pennant team for the past two years and only recently won the individual major prize at a social competition in Wangaratta.

Ellen played in division three of the three golf croquet levels in the 2015 GVCA Golf Croquet Championships at Rich River on March 30.
Four of the seven contenders each won four games.
