A GROUP of like-minded neighbors have come together to stomp their way through the Euroa-Strathbogie Relay for Life.

The Platt Street Stompers have all been touched by cancer both directly and indirectly and wanted to make their mark on finding a much-needed cure for the disease.

Team members have all participated in the Relay for Life at some stage and have so far raised $200, with the aim of reaching $1000.

Team member Megan Penman said members all had a connection to people with cancer.

“Whether it’s friends, family or themselves, cancer has had an impact on our lives,” she said.

“The Relay for Life is such an important event in our community, we wanted a chance to participate in it.
