Peranbin Primary College Strathbogie campus year 3-5 teacher Helen Eadie, pictured here with foundation student Wade Morgan, evacuated due to bushfires during her first week in town last December.

The way people pulled together during this time was an example of the close knit Strathbogie community that attracted Ms Eadie to town.

Peranbin Primary College Strathbogie campus has 17 students in 2015 ranging from foundation to year 5.
