ALMOST 100 business and trades people attended a breakfast hosted by the Rotary Club of Euroa and Business Enterprise Euroa last Thursday to hear how they can get involved with the hospital redevelopment tendering process.
Held at the newly constructed Euroa Community Conference and Function Centre (ECCFC), stakeholders at the breakfast included Euroa Health chief executive officer Elena McShane, project manager Stuart King from Tumac Consulting and Euroa Health board members.
The new aged care facility has an anticipated $10.5million cost out of a project with a total value of $13.8million.
An entirely new, standalone 75 bed facility will be constructed with connections to existing buildings.
Mr King said these beds would consist of high, low and dementia care beds and there would be endless opportunities for contractors, including the installation of 75 ensuites for each room.
“The Euroa Health team is very excited and this takes the hospital and aged care facilities to a new level,” he said.
