OVER 20 Euroa Secondary College graduates are thrilled they have been accepted into some of the state’s best universities.

In the first round of offers sent out last week, 25 former students have been accepted into the University of Melbourne as well as Monash, RMIT, Deakin, La Trobe, Swinburne and Australian Catholic University at campuses including the city, Bendigo, Albury-Wodonga, Hawthorn and Bundoora.

The universities made offers in such courses as science, education, medical radiation, public relations, psychology, business, paramedicine, accounting and writing.

Some students were given offers at private colleges in graphic design, justice, game design, building and beauty.

Three students returned to their old school to discuss their offers with college pathways coordinator Adrian Bright last week.

Felix Arnold was offered a double degree in Arts/Science at Monash University’s Clayton campus but may consider changing to Environment Studies at the University of Melbourne.
