VIOLET Town faced their ‘cross town rival’ Avenel on Saturday.

After a string of wet, wintry Saturdays the sunshine was welcome for the day’s matches.

Despite the results of the day, many positives were taken from the matches, especially with the losing margins for C and B grade being dramatically less than the last time we played Avenel.

Well done girls.
